As we end this election season and look into the future with a new President, I am reminded how great this Democracy is that we are privileged to be a part of.  Regardless of your political affiliation, this was set up by our forefathers and it is truly a privilege to have our voices heard.  America is still the greatest nation in the world.

I love that Veterans Day is in so close to Thanksgiving.  We had our Santaquin American Legion Auxiliary dinner on November 4th.  I always feel so honored to associate with these great men and women that surround us in our communities.  They are such a blessing to us and it is important for us to thank them and honor them.  We appreciate Sgt. Jared Hooper and his remarks, insight and especially for his service.

This time of year also brings with it the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.  It is truly a great time of year!  We are all so busy with our daily lives, our jobs, our friends and loved ones.  Take time to really enjoy all that this season has to offer.  It is a great time to show our gratitude, help those in need, uplift ourselves with service and better our communities.

We have so much to be thankful for, individually, as a community and as a nation.
