Spanish Fork Salem Area Chamber of Commerce chooses 2017 board members

Dec 01, 2016 01:07AM
The Spanish Fork Salem Area Chamber of Commerce recently held their annual board of directors elections. Katrina Kimball ran unopposed for the president-elect position and will serve as the chamber president in 2018. Kimball is the owner of Sego Lily Soap on Main Street in Spanish Fork. She has served on the current chamber board for the last year and has been a wonderful addition to the Spanish Fork Salem Area Chamber of Commerce. The chamber had 13 exceptional candidates willing to serve on the board of directors for 2017; however, only seven positions were available. After sending the vote out to the entire Spanish Fork and Salem chamber, the top seven candidates were chosen to fill the vacancies on the board. The following were chosen (in no particular order) by fellow members of the chamber: Adam Walker (Walker Funeral Home), Brady Amundson (Servpro of Provo), Dawn Davis (Gunnerson Dental), Kevin Dunn (Big O Tires), Scott Rasband (Chick-fil-A), Susan Taylor (Susan’s Hair Design) and Wendy Osborne (Tabitha’s Way). We would like to congratulate our winners and thank them for their willingness to serve our chamber and the community for their two-year board term. Should any board member be unable to complete their two-year term, a replacement will be chosen from those candidates not elected.
