The Gladstan Ladies Golf Club at Gladstone Golf Course in Payson is getting ready for summer. You are welcome to be part of our weekly party.

Edna Martinez is one of the many beautiful and talented women that golf every Tuesday morning or Monday evening.

Edna was born in Montana where she learned calf roping. She graduated from Brigham Young University with an accounting degree and as a champion of the All-Church Golf Tournament.

Edna raised a family. She then attended UNLV, earning advanced degrees in engineering and physics. The United States government hired her to measure the size of the nuclear blasts at the Nevada desert testing sites.

Yes, you may be using one of her textbooks in your engineering classes.

Edna loves living here and golfs each week at Gladstan.

In a few weeks, call the Gladstan Club House at 801-465-2549 for lessons. Then we will all be ready for the Opening Social of the golf season. All ages and skill levels are always welcome.
