After reading the article in Serve Daily of the needs of students at Mt. Nebo Junior High School, Community Strategies Director at Community Action Services and Food Bank, Carol Barker, contacted Amy Ewell at Mt. Nebo Jr. High.
The first delivery of 40 food backpacks arrived on Thursday, Oct 26th and CASFB will continue deliveries twice a month as needed. “Thank you so very much. This will be great for the kids! The food bags are awesome. We will definitely use them!” said Mrs. Ewell.
“We are so grateful that CASFB can be a part of this great effort to help students and their families,” said Mrs. Barker. “We are pleased to be able to further facilitate the students at MNJHS desires to serve.”
