Mapleton youth wins Arbor Day tree poster contest

Emma Beach, a fourth-grader at Mapleton Elementary, recently won the Sweepstakes Award for the Utah Arbor Day Tree Poster Contest. 

r The Weatherization Assistance Program of the Housing Authority of Utah County, serving the residents of Utah, Wasatch, and Summit Counties, currently has funding for home weatherization services, available at no cost to qualified applicants. Deadlines for spending portions of this funding are rapidly approaching and the Weatherization Program is actively seeking applicants who will benefit from Weatherization services, which include:

Energy AuditsrLED LightingrCarbon Monoxide and Smoke DetectorsrHome Performance Windows/DoorsrInsulationrFurnace Testing, Repair, and ReplacementrRefrigerator ReplacementrDuct Sealing and TestingrBlower Door TestingrIndoor Air Quality Testing

We offer assistance to homeowners, renters, and mobile homeowners.
